Cartier-Bresson

I enjoyed this photo very much I think that all the simple components like the water, bridge, sidewalk, and people come together really well. The tree in the foreground really puts a contrast on the smooth looking river. I think that the photo could be improved by shifting to the left a little bit because I want to see what the bridge connects to. 

I found this photo very interesting how its almost a mirror image but it isn't. I hd to take a second look to tell if it was or not.I like how the whole photo is washed out a bit so there is still contract but no dramatic steps. I wish it was more centered though. each side is different enough to tell its not a reflection so you don't need the frame shift to increase the difference.

Proposals

Hands- I think this would be a cool idea to do because there are lots of different things people do with their hands. If one scene doesn't work there are plenty of different ones that will work. Also I believe that you can tell a lot about a person just by looking at there hands. Dirty and scarred hands make you think of all the trouble and work they have gone through. Soft clean you think maybe feminine and neat. Hands with oil stains let you know they are probably a mechanic. Ones with paint think artist.

Shoes- Shoes go with us pretty much everywhere. They experience all the places you walk. I like my old worn looking converse shoes that I would put in various places such as grass, gym, puddle etc. They old wornness of the shoes tells the of story of where they have been, from the dirt to rips and holes they show the life of the shoe.
